ReplyDeleteThe variety in reflections truly does reflect (for lack of a better word) the nature of the poems chosen. Perhaps the only criticism I could make is some place too great a reliance on using images to describe the literal meaning of the poem and not nearly enough time using text to explain the metaphorical meanings behind the compositions.
In truth, this is probably because of the parameters of the task. Next time, we'll have a stricter structure. Maybe something like (at minimum) two minutes, ten images and 200 words of YOUR own text? Just an idea ...
Well Done as a whole. A good finish to what has been a busy term.

ReplyDeleteAlex Spirko's refelection was just great. He captured everything the poem stood for. It showed a man who had his heart broken by the girl he loved. He shouldnt worry though, there's plenty of fish in the sea
A good video i have viewed todays was "Touched by an Angel", by Scott.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about the reflection is the reviewing of each sentence in the photos which fitted in with the poems definitions.
The one aspect that the video lacked was the quality information that was depicted the images. It could have used more defined images and depiction of what its trying to tell us via the poem.
The one thing that I would include in the video is more informating images that have depict the poem, what its about, and how its trying to tell or inform us.

ReplyDeleteI have chosen to write my reflection on Scott’s poem because it is truly one of the best reflections on a poem I have seen. It was about love and how it sets you free.
The best thing about Scott’s reflection was the last picture that he put on his video. For me it was the best thing because it is realistic and true.
The one aspect of reflection that was most lacking was probably the music Scott should have put a more romantic song.
The one thing I would include in Scott’s reflection to improve it is the song My Heart Will Go On because it is more emotional and romantic.

The aspect that the reflection was lacking was the innovation of the creator to depict the song and include images that do not actually show Michael Jackson but other imaged that relate to the actual words in the song.
The one thing that I would include in this reflection would be clever images that relate to the words of the song and which shoe the emotions of the song.
